Treehouse Farm

Built on a farm overlooking the Malvern Hills, a birds wing like plan serves to both enclose a courtyard and reach out to the southerly views across the farm and welcome in the sunshine. A typical plan of east side kitchen, central dining area and west side lounge (usage throughout the day following the sun path) unfold to the south side of the ground floor but are separated by a dramatic, double height, octagonal conservatory. Utility rooms feature on the north side. Farm use spaces have their own separate entrance whilst the main 'clean' entrance is followed by a myriad of views towards the sunshine that is restrained by glass partitions and timber screens. Upstairs the parents live in one half, the children the other; this latter half can be changed when the children leave home into self contained B&B accomodation.
