Our Client is a developer who saw the potential of this run-down terraced shop, when its neighbours were replaced by a 3-storey development; we helped him to develop a scheme and obtain planning permission for a contemporary, 3-storey building, comprising two one-bedroom flats over a B1 unit.

The side is deep and narrow, more-or-less dictating the layout, with a staircase up one side and the flats wrapped around it; to make best use of the space, one has its living space to the front, the other to the rear.

We remained involved in the project to the completion of the major structural elements.
